Party Time
A dance party on your Apple Watch: eighteen animated scenes that move to the beat, or to the music around you.
Getting started
- The party starts right away at 120 BPM, with no microphone needed.
- Swipe left or right to change the scene.
- Tap the screen for controls: pause, pick a scene, or turn on Sync to Sound.
Sync to Sound
Turn on Sync to Sound and allow microphone access, then play music nearby. The dancers follow its beat and glide to a stop when the room goes quiet.
- Not reacting to quiet music? Raise Mic sensitivity in the controls.
- Reacting to background noise? Lower Mic sensitivity.
- Denied microphone access by mistake? On your watch, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and turn on Party Time.
Screen and battery
watchOS controls when the display dims. To stay in the party longer, set Settings → Display & Brightness → Wake Duration to 70 seconds, and Settings → General → Return to Clock → Party Time to return to the app when you raise your wrist.
